תערוכת וויסקי לייב הבינלאומית מבית Whisky Magazine הבינלאומי, מתקיימת מדי שנה ביותר משלושים ערים ברחבי העולם באוסטרליה, אירלנד, אנגליה, ארה"ב, בלגיה, הודו, הולנד, יפן, צרפת, קנדה, ספרד ועוד.
בישראל התערוכה תתקיים זו השנה השביעית, כשהשנה התערוכה גדלה והופכת לאירוע אלכוהול פרימיום הגדול בארץ במתחם Expo TLV.
אפשר רשמית להכריז שישראל היא וויסקי-ניישן. הקהל הישראלי צמא לאיכות מזוקקת ואחרי שנת מנוחה, Whisky live עולה שלב ומציגה הפקה בסטנדרט גבוה עם כל החידושים בתחום הוויסקי ומגוון רחב של מותגים שונים מרחבי הגלובוס – החל מהמזקקות המובילות בעולם ועד למזקקות ביתיות קטנות ומבקבקים עצמאיים. עשרות בקבוקים נדירים, אורחים מחו״ל, סדנאות וגם משקאות פרימיום איכותיים נוספים!
ישראל מעמיקה בשנים האחרונות את האחיזה בעולמות הבינלאומיים של וויסקי איכותי ועל פי סקרים חלה עלייה ניכרת בצריכת המשקה בארץ לצד העלייה במספר המזקקות המקומיות. Whisky live הוא האירוע המרכזי בתחום הן עבור התעשייה המקצועית והן עבור אוהבי המשקה.
השקות אקסקלוסיביות של בקבוקים, מהדורות מוגבלות ונדירות לצד מותגי הוויסקי המובילים מכל העולם.
השנה יגיעו שגרירים, מאסטר בלנדרס ומבקבקים עצמאיים מהעולם שיעבירו סדנאות והרצאות שיכללו טעימות וויסקי מבקבוקים נדירים המגיעים לארץ לראשונה.
מתחם הפרימיום המפנק עבר שדרוג ויציע בקבוקים שנבחרו במיוחד למתחם על ידי מובילים של תרבות הוויסקי בארץ ואספנים ויכלול גם מרחבי ישיבה מעוצבים ומפנקים. השנה אפשר יהיה לדגום בפסטיבל גם משקאות נוספים דוגמת ג'ין, קוניאק, רום, ליקרים מיוחדים, קוקטיילים ובקבוקים שבוקבקו רק לתערוכה.
בין האורחים מחו"ל יגיעו:מייקל פבררו סמית (Michael Fbrero smith), מנהל מכירות ייצוא למזרח התיכון ואפריקה של חברת international beverage המכונה גם הלוחש לוויסקי, היישר מממזקות פולטני וספייבורן באירלנד. ראיין ווילסון (Rhys Wilson ), השגריר הבינ"ל של מותג שיבאס, קני מקדונלד המבקבק העצמאי dramnmore, שגריר פרנו ריקארד שיגיע להשיק את מזקקת רדברסט בארץ עם מבחר בקבוקים ייחודים, ג'ס לומס מסינגל קאסק ניישן, דני סלטמן מDS.
איש הוויסקי תומר גורן, מנהלה המקצועי של התערוכה, מי שייבא את הפורמט לישראל והמזקק של "מילק אנד האני", המזקקה הישראלית שסדרת האלמנט שלה זכתה השנה בתואר הוויסקי הטוב בעולם יוביל את קפיצת המדרגה של התערוכה מבחינה מקצועית ויחתום על הבקבוקים במתחם הפרימיום. שוק הוויסקי בישראל גדל וצומח בשנים האחרונות מבחינת היצע המותגים המיובאים ורמת הידע וההבנה של הקהל המקומי. התערוכה היא חגיגה של טעמים וניחוחות, הזדמנות
לטעימה מבקבוקי וויסקי מיוחדים ואפשרות להעמיק ולצלול לעולמות התוכן של המשקה המדהים הזה בסדנאות שיועברו על ידי מומחי וויסקי מרתקים.
על ההפקה 'ניה הפקות' של זאב גלעד שמפיקה גם את מידברן והפיקה את עצמאי בשטח, אירועים לזכרו של מאיר אריאל ז"ל ועוד.
